Mandy Brooks - Managing Director and co-founder

Mandy is responsible for CBC's business strategy and works closely with the Team to ensure that CBC delivers a measurable and focused service, providing clear solutions to clients' Business, Marketing and PR needs. Successes have included an innovative and resourceful approach to working practices which has lead to a forward thinking, dynamic and greatly enhanced service, a Best of Business Award, and ongoing reassessments for Investors in People (IiP). "Our last reassessment proves that we continue to meet the highest standards of the Investors in People accreditation and were identified as the best provider of work life balance that our assessor has seen". Mandy holds Accredited Practitioner status with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is a volunteer Advisor for Young Enterprise, working with sixth formers to help forge links between schools and Industry.

Chaz Brooks - Creative Director and co-founder

A talented communications professional, Chaz is involved in both creative direction and hands-on work with journalists for CBC clients as well as advising clients on how a strategic PR campaign will build their profile, reputation and support their business objectives. Chaz has vast experience of Marketing and PR and was previously Marketing Manager for several well known companies including Canon UK. He is the current President of the Surrey Chambers of Commerce. Recent client successes have included a front page story in the Law Gazette for a legal client, National TV/print coverage for an IT consultancy firm, facilitating an interview with the Daily Telegraph for an Indian Maharaja's charity launch and media work with Sarah Ferguson, and National TV/print exposure for the UK's leading eye surgeon.

Olivia Chute - Operations Manager

Olivia's expertise lies in Office Administration, HR, Planning and Reporting, Quality and Accreditations. She is also the contact point for invoicing and contractual matters at CBC, and is involved in New Business at the pitch and proposal stages. Olivia holds Accredited Practitioner status with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and has been a mentor for MentorsByNet, the largest E-Mentoring programme in Europe, providing consultation to candidates on Business Planning, Training and HR. Olivia is our company "champion" when it comes to Training, both running in-house courses and induction programmes for our staff, and also managing the Investors in People programme at CBC. Olivia is also involved in managing our website and blog, and recently has turned her hand to writing business-focused articles and comments that have been published in Business titles.

Michael Kahn - Senior PR Consultant

Michael has worked for CBC since 1997, as both Account Manager and Account Director, before moving to the role of Senior PR Consultant. In addition to his expertise in PR strategy and planning, Michael has been a freelance journalist and brings exceptional writing skills to the Team. Recent triumphs include successful placement and publication of case studies and by-lined editorial features in clients' key target publications.


Andrew Ball - Senior Account Manager

A strategic thinker, Andrew is experienced in working with niche technology players across multiple industries and sectors. With a proven track record of developing creative angles in order to get exposure for clients in their key target markets, Andrew and the Team focus both on promoting and raising the profile of the client company as well as raising media awareness of the key company spokespeople as trusted industry experts and thought leaders across numerous disciplines. Some of Andrew's recent successes include: developing stories and angles across different verticals on the back of a survey he helped engineer on behalf of a client, and placing and helping to put together a 12-page supplement for another client in one of the leading Telecoms publications.

Alison Scarrott - Account Manager

Alison has brought a wide range of PR, Marketing and Sales skills to CBC. Before joining us, she worked with one of Europe's leading business magazine publishing houses, in a disciplined advertising sales environment. Alison has recently been involved in supporting CBC clients at trade events and organising industry dinners, forums and award ceremonies, as well as managing several PR accounts. One of her greatest strengths lies in her ability to place articles with relevant press, using her exceptional skills in "selling in" our clients' opinion articles, press materials and comments to key journalists and publications.

Carys Waters - PR Account Executive

Recently graduated with BA (Hons) Communication, Media and Culture degree, Carys has joined the CBC Team as Account Executive. Using her strong organisational and communication skills, she helps the Team with a whole range of PR, Marketing and Admin support tasks. Her main focus is on supporting the Team in delivering on each client's PR campaign and Tactics plans, so as to maximise editorial opportunities and to secure maximum press coverage for our client base. Having completed a range of work placements during her degree course, including a work placement with us back in 2006, a Business Development & Marketing placement at a local solicitors as well as a placement in the HR department of a famous London Hospital, her strengths lie in her conscientious nature, her drive, her "can do" attitude and team player focus.
